What is a .vox file?
VOX is the native format of MagicaVoxel, a free voxel art editor. VOX files contain 3D voxel models with a 256-color palette.
What happens when I open in the editor?
The VOX import dialog opens where you choose an axis (X, Y, or Z) to slice the 3D model. Each slice becomes a separate layer in the pixel art editor.
Can I export the 3D view?
Click Download Screenshot to save the current 3D view as a PNG image.
