How It Works

Filename Order

Frames sort numerically by filename (frame_1, frame_2, … frame_10), so exported sequences line up automatically.

Strip or Grid

Combine your PNGs into a horizontal strip, vertical strip, or compact grid.

Transparency Kept

The sheet is a PNG with full alpha, so transparent backgrounds survive.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I convert PNG images to a sprite sheet?

Select all your PNG frames at once (Ctrl/Cmd-click or drag a selection in the file picker), check the order, pick a layout, and download the combined sheet. Everything runs in your browser — your images are never uploaded to a server.

What order will my frames be in?

Frames are sorted by filename with numeric awareness, so run_2.png comes before run_10.png. That matches how most tools export frame sequences. You can still drag any frame to reorder it manually.

Can I mix JPG or WebP frames in?

Yes — any browser-readable image works as input. The output sheet is always PNG so transparency is preserved.

Do all frames need the same size?

Yes, cells are laid out on a uniform grid sized to the first frame. If your PNGs vary in size, run them through the Image Resizer first.

How do I use the sheet in Unity or Godot?

Import the PNG, then slice it by cell size: in Unity use the Sprite Editor's Grid By Cell Size; in Godot set Hframes/Vframes on a Sprite2D, or use an AtlasTexture. The grid dimensions shown in the tool tell you the cell counts.

Can I make the sprite sheet from a GIF instead?

Use the GIF to Sprite Sheet converter — it extracts the GIF's frames for you. This page is for separate image files.
