Frequently Asked Questions
Why convert Nova to BMP?
BMP (Windows Bitmap) is uncompressed. Useful for legacy software and archival where raw pixel data is required.
What happens to transparency?
BMP does not support transparency. Transparent pixels are flattened against a white background before encoding.
What is Novaboard?
Novaboard is a pixel art studio with a multi-file workspace, animation timelines, palette tools, and sprite-sheet export.
